Years of discipline in Taiwan.

Before returning to Indonesia, Vincent spent years in Taiwan — an environment recognized for its highly disciplined beauty industry, advanced salon systems, and exceptionally demanding technical standards. It was there that he developed the foundation that would later shape his signature approach toward hair artistry today.

His professional journey began through formal cosmetology education at Shute Vocational High School, before continuing into advanced hairstyling and chemical specialization programs at Sdoree Hair Academy and the TOB Hair Chemical Specialist Program. Vincent later pursued the Bachelor Program of Hair Design & Salon Management at Shute University, deepening his understanding not only of technical artistry, but also luxury salon culture, image building, and modern beauty business management.

Career · Refinement

From educator to Top Stylist and Art Director.

Throughout his years in Taiwan's competitive salon industry, Vincent continued refining his craft at a level far beyond conventional salon standards.

He served as an International Hair Educator at Sdoree Academy Taichung, contributing to professional hairstylist education and technical training programs. He later became recognized as a Top Stylist at Sdoree Hair Salon — one of Taiwan's most established salon groups with more than 200 branches — where his work became sought after by professionals, influencers, and image-conscious clients who valued refinement, detail, and transformation.

Vincent later continued his career as Art Director at Level Up Hair Group Kaohsiung, where he further developed his philosophy toward luxury salon experience, advanced consultation systems, and transformation-focused artistry.

Return · 2023

A new vision comes home.

In 2023, Vincent Max returned to Indonesia carrying a vision that was different from the traditional salon culture commonly seen in the local industry.

Rather than building another conventional beauty salon, he introduced a more elevated and internationally influenced approach — one centered around precision coloring, hair chemical specialization, personalized transformation, and luxury client experience.

That vision eventually became Studio 31 Hairdesign.

Today, Studio 31 Hairdesign is recognized not simply as a salon, but as a destination for clients who seek exclusivity, technical excellence, and refined transformation. Vincent's signature work is especially known for its softness, dimension, elegance, and natural sophistication.

Beyond the salon industry, Vincent is also the Scientist behind KingClub Haircare — a premium haircare project developed with the ambition of bringing Indonesian beauty products toward international luxury standards through formulation innovation, salon expertise, and modern branding philosophy.
